Welcome to my webpage! I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Rice University and will join the Department of Political Science at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) next Fall. My main research interests lie on the fields of comparative politics, legislative studies, electoral institutions, and the dynamics between national and subnational units in federal regimes. My primary focus is on Latin American countries. My work has been published in the Journal of Politics, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Comparative Political Studies, Journal of Legislative Studies, Journal of Politics in Latin America, and several edited volumes.
